Walker plays to the tea party

SUAMICO - Gov. Scott Walker and the tea party got their foot in the door of our government in November 2010 on the premise it's all about the jobs, of which they immediately forgot. They haven't created any jobs, but they have gone out of their way to kill unions.

Walker's attempt to defund our public education system in favor of funding unmonitored, ungraded parochial schools with our tax dollars shows his disdain for our teachers and public schools. His refusal to allow our federal tax dollars to be returned to our state to fund education, infrastructure, transportation and health care is his way of not cooperating with the Obama administration in spite of the good it would do Wisconsinites.

His Republican tea party friends have attempted to elect people like Missouri's Todd Akin who outlined a "legitimate rape" for us and Bob McDonnell of Virginia who came up with a disgusting way to test women seeking an abortion. Tea party member Kentucky's Rand Paul opposes the civil rights of 1964 and feels it should have gone to a referendum.

I don't recall hearing the words "voter suppression" until this hateful tea party showed its ugly head. Hopefully their hate for minorities and aliens will be their demise.
