A Wautoma man arrested in connection to a bank robbery at a west side bank last week is now facing criminal charges.

Cory M. Billstrom, 39, was charged in Winnebago County Circuit Court Tuesday with robbery with threat of force as a repeater. He is being held in custody at the Winnebago County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.

Deputies from the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office were called to BMO Harris Bank, 2100 Omro Road, at 11 a.m. March 12. Billstrom had gone into the bank and handed the teller a handwritten note demanding money. No threats were made and no weapons were displayed.

Billstrom was arrested later in the day on March 12 by officers from another jurisdiction.

He is due back in court March 28 for a preliminary hearing.
