Mosinee man charged with bigamy

WAUSAU - A Mosinee man is facing accusations of bigamy after his wife of seven months told police the man already was married when the couple took their vows.

Timothy B. Swinea, 45, was charged Tuesday in Marathon County Circuit Court with three felonies: bigamy, bail jumping and making a false statement on a marriage license.

Swinea, who faces more than nine years in prison if convicted of all the charges, remains in the Marathon County jail on a probation hold. He is on probation for a 2012 theft conviction. ...
