RDA puts $300K into Walnut Street project

30-day comment period starts without any information

Green Bay's Redevelopment Authority on Tuesday agreed to transfer $300,000 from its revolving loan fund to an unspecified project on East Walnut Street.

The authority went into closed session three times Tuesday, twice to talk about the Walnut Street project and once to talk about KI Convention Center expansion related to the Clarion Hotel property. The authority has discussed the KI matter in closed session for several meetings; it provided no specifics on the Walnut project other than to say it was to deal with blight.
