Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and the Killers will be among the headliners for Lollapalooza in Chicago's Grant Park Aug. 2-4.

Also confirmed by multiple industry sources are the National and the Postal Service (a reunion of Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello on the 10-year anniversary of their million-selling debut, "Give Up"). Lollapalooza promoters C3 Presents said it would officially announce the lineup next month. "Early bird" tickets for the festival go on sale Tuesday.

Lollapalooza, which relaunched in 2005 as a destination festival in Chicago, has become increasingly successful, consistently selling out 270,000 tickets over three days in recent years. The festival is expected to have a similar format to last year, with more than 100 artists arrayed on eight stages over three days.
