GREEN BAY - What a transition. Ninth Street went from a very mundane - you might say ugly - underpass under U.S. 41 to a most magnificent very wide transformation.
The Department of Transportation and all its so efficient engineers deserve so much credit. They worked tirelessly starting in early spring of 2012 through the summer, winter months, until its total completion as of now. To me, it's almost a small replica of the Tower of London Bridge. Not only is it a wonderful asset to us, the residents of Ninth Street, but it's a positive view of a corridor for many of the people using this coming from the north and west, and Packers fans driving to the games. The DOT deserves so much credit and a major thank you.
