Letter: Ladick experience fits well with post

Let's talk about Corey Ladick. I could tell you that Corey is unfailingly polite, fun to be around, and invariably, the first to volunteer. However, that might not be reason enough to convince you to vote for him for comptroller/treasurer on April 2, so I will tell you more about him.

Corey has the right qualifications for the job. He knows numbers because of his degrees in finance and public administration, and his years of work in the banking industry.

He also knows government because he's had multiple positions at the state and federal level, which includes being a congressional intern for Congressman Ron Kind, a legislative assistant for Julie Lassa, and working for the Export Import Bank, a federal government agency that creates jobs by financing the sale of American products worldwide. These experiences are important, because the city needs to be able to work effectively with officials at the state and federal levels.

I am delighted to encourage you to vote for Corey Ladick for city comptroller/treasurer. He has the education and experience to do the job, and even more important, he has the kind of character and enthusiasm we hope for when giving someone our vote.
