Residents and merchants along University Avenue are getting a chance to help design a potential makeover for the Green Bay thoroughfare.

City officials have launched a study on reinvigorating business growth along a four-mile stretch of University Avenue between the East River and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Officials hope that this summer's scheduled opening of a new federal health care clinic for military veterans will attract new interest to a corridor that has struggled in recent years to retain quality businesses. ...
