Men's basketball: UWGB fades in 2nd half of CIT loss to Bradley

PEORIA, Ill. - The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men's basketball team ran out of energy Wednesday night in its CollegeInsider.com Tournament opener at Bradley.

The Phoenix led for more than 33 minutes of their first postseason game under coach Brian Wardle, but lost 75-69 to the Braves at Renaissance Coliseum after the hosts outscored UWGB 20-8 over the final seven minutes, save for a Brennan Cougill 3-pointer that ended the scoring.

"We ran out of gas," Wardle said after his team ended the season with an 18-16 record. "No doubt, Bradley played with great energy the last 8 minutes or so." ...
