A rural Wautoma man has been arrested in connection to the March 6 death of Robert J. Kasun of Mt. Morris.

Kasun was found dead in his apartment of blunt force injuries to his head and abdomen.

Evidence collected from the apartment, in addition to information gathered by investigators from the Waushara County Sheriff's Office, the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation and the execution of search warrants led authorities to question and arrest 42-year-old Travis Lee Petersen on Monday.

Petersen is being held in the Waushara County Jail and is expected to be charged with first degree intentional homicide.

No other information is being released by authorities until the criminal complaint is filed in Waushara County Circuit Court.
