Michigan man sentenced for high-speed chase

An 18-year-old Michigan man has been sentenced to 10 months in jail for leading authorities on a high-speed chase in January on Interstate 43 through Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Brown counties.

Ray Gidean-John Potter was sentenced this week by Sheboygan County Circuit Court Judge Terence Bourke. Potter was also ordered to pay $1,418 in restitution.

Potter pleaded no contest last month to felony attempting to flee an officer, as part of a plea deal reached with prosecutors. The charge carried a maximum 1 1/2 years in prison. ...
