Boy saved from falling off Clark Street Bridge

Stevens Point police officers helped save a 15-year-old boy from falling off a downtown bridge Friday.

Officers responded to the Clark Street Bridge at about 2:45 p.m. Friday to a report of a 15-year-old resident who was standing on the side of the bridge, according to a news release sent Wednesday by police. The boy had run away from a mental health facility for juveniles, the news release said.
