Recent passage of iron mining permitting reforms will allow Wisconsin to attract a $1.5 billion investment in family-supporting jobs while ensuring our environment is protected.

Just a few weeks ago, Wisconsin lawmakers voted to solidify an economic engine that will produce jobs and economic opportunity for generations to come in northern Wisconsin. It is likely to be one of the most important job creation bills the Legislature has ever passed into law.
