Column: Two Kewaunee County teams take home the gold

Congratulations to the Kewaunee, Division 3, and Algoma, Division 4, girls basketball teams for winning the state championships in their respective divisions last weekend.

All the games were great to watch and Kewaunee's championship game was especially exciting. After being down by double digits at the half, the storm came out the second half, took control and eventually caught up under the leadership of Kelsey Stangel, winning by two on a last-second basket by Alex Richard. I don't think East Troy knew what hit them. Great going, ladies!
