Manitowoc man sentenced to jail for third OWI

A 37-year-old Manitowoc man, who nearly hit a state patrol vehicle, was sentenced to jail for his third-offense operating while intoxicated.

Manitowoc County Circuit Reserve Judge Fred Hazlewood on March 13 sentenced Michael D. Musial, 1317 S. 22nd St., to 50 days in jail with work-release privileges to begin immediately, according to recently released court records.

Musial also was ordered to pay $1,424 in fines and costs, undergo alcohol assessment and 28 months' driver's license revocation and ignition interlock. ...
