Golf pro visits Evergreen

Buck Welsh, golf professional at Greenwood Hills Country Club, Wausau, visited Evergreen Elementary School from Feb. 25 to Feb. 28 to teach students about golf etiquette, types of clubs, safety and putting.

This unit was a good opportunity for students to swing golf clubs and putt balls during the winter months and also provided an opportunity for local golf professionals to meet students and talk about their junior golf programs.
