Baby-sitter training offered

The Northwoods Family Resource Center Network is offering baby-sitting training from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday March 27, at the Lincoln County Family Resource Center, 401 W. Main Street, Merrill.

Students in grades five to eight are invited to come and learn the basics of how safely to provide care for young children and to get ideas for fun activities to do with the children.

When registration is confirmed, paperwork will be mailed. Participants must bring the completed registration form, a signed parent consent form, and a bag lunch to the training.

Cost is $20 per student, payable to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Class size is limited; call 715-539-9228 to register or for more information.
