Adams-Friendship auditorium plan heads to voters

School leaders say proposed project would not increase tax levy

Adams-Friendship Area School District leaders hope a referendum on the April 2 ballot will help them gauge the public's interest in building a high school performance space.

The district's Education Foundation already has committed $1 million for the $3.9 million project, for which fundraising began in 2002, shortly after the building of the new high school, said Steve LaVallee, district administrator.
