6:58 PM, Mar. 20, 2013  |  Comments
A Linda Campbell Cancer Benefit will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Lake Camelot Lodge, 298 Leisure Lane, Rome. Linda, pictured with her Linda and her English mastiff Tilli at Room to Roam Dog Park, is a town of Rome resident who has stage four melanoma cancer. The Campbells have four children with two high school age children still at home. This 'party,' as Linda prefers it being called, is for friends, relatives and neighbors to show Linda and her family support and to raise money for special needs during this time. A silent auction will be from noon to 3:45 p.m. It also will feature raffles, good and music by Life's a Dance DJ Services. It is sponsored by Friends of the Room to Roam Dog Park.
