Former patient smashed Marshfield Clinic windows with hammer

William Sachs, 40, of Spencer, is in custody at the Wood County Jail after breaking several windows and sliding glass doors with a hammer at 3:38 p.m. Thursday at the Marshfield Clinic Marshfield Center, 1000 N. Oak Ave.

Clinic media relations manager Bob Mackle said Sachs broke windows in the Urgent Care lobby, then proceeded across the Marshfield Clinic campus to the Russell Lewis Building, where he caused more damage.

Sachs sustained injuries as a result of the incident and was booked and transported to the Wood County Jail after he was released from the Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital ...
