Residents of central Wisconsin were given a small taste of spring on March 16 as temperatures warmed just enough to allow some snow to melt, some puddles to be formed, some icicles to drip and steam roll off the roads. Spring officially started Wednesday, two days after a late-winter snowstorm blanketed the area.
