Wisconsin Rapids police

At 10:43 a.m. Friday, a man reported the theft of medications in the 1700 block of Sampson Street.

At 3:40 p.m. Friday, a Necedah woman reported a traffic crash in the 4300 block of Eighth Street South.

At 3:43 p.m. Friday, an anonymous woman reported a male yelling at a female who looked "out of it," and both got into a vehicle and left the parking lot of Rapids Mall, 555 W. Grand Ave.

At 5:55 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a man was talking on the phone while driving near the intersection of Eighth Street and the Riverview Expressway. The caller asked the man whether he was done talking and told him using a cellphone while driving is against the law. The man got out of the vehicle and spat in the caller's face.

At 6:31 p.m. Friday, a woman reported her 16-year-old son hit her.

At 6:46 p.m. Friday, officers arrested a woman on a warrant in the 500 block of 12th Street South.

At 7:55 p.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported a traffic crash in the 1100 block of Sixth Street South.

At 8:57 p.m. Friday, officers arrested a woman on a warrant near the intersection of First and Love streets.

At 10:11 p.m. Friday, officers arrested a woman near the intersection of 11th Avenue and Van Buren Street.

At 11:07 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of First Street North.

At 3:24 a.m. Saturday, an officer responded to a report of someone leaving Perkins Restaurant, 2311 Eighth St. S., without paying.

At 9:36 a.m. Saturday, a woman reported a student refusing to leave Lincoln High School, 1801 16th St. S.

At 10:59 a.m. Saturday, a woman reported someone used her library card and checked out several hundred items.

Marshfield fire, ambulance

Marshfield firefighters responded Friday to two reports. An alarm at 4 a.m. in the 800 block of East Harrison Street was an unintentional activation, and the scene was investigated. Firefighters responded at 11:34 p.m. to a gas leak in the 1200 block of South Chestnut Avenue.

Ambulances responded to six medical emergencies, including one fall victim.
