Associated Banc-Corp expects to be substantially moved into its new downtown Green Bay headquarters by the end of August.
The parent company of Associated Bank now has its headquarters in Ashwaubenon, but last year acquired the Regency office building at 333 Main St., Green Bay. Associated is renovating the six-story building from top to bottom, and employees are moving in as their areas are complete. About 70 are there now, the company said.
All but one floor will be complete by June 1. All construction is scheduled for completion by July.
The building can accommodate up to 630 workers. The biggest move will come in June, when 300 relocate downtown. Associated expects to have 480 in the building by the end of August.
Health care reform discussion
Jerry Ganoni, president of Small Business and Specialty Benefits at Humana Inc. in De Pere, and Mark Wernicke, a Humana vice president, will talk about how how health care reform will impact employers during the St. Norbert College CEO Breakfast on Tuesday.
Humana announced earlier this week it would hire 75 full-time customer service employees at its De Pere/Green Bay operations, and that it added 40 in December.
Ganoni joined local Humana predecessor Employers Health in 1990. Humana acquired Employers Health in 1996. Ganoni helped found Humana Dental Insurance Co. and was named president in 2000. He was named leader of the small business segment in 2005.
Wernicke joined Humana in 1994 and since 2009 has focused on the strategic and business implications arising from the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act.
The breakfast is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. in the F.K. Bemis International Center on the St. Norbert Campus in De Pere. The cost is $60. For information, go to tickets.snc.edu/tickets, email email@example.com or visit www.snc.edu/ceobreakfast.
Hansen's restaurant closed
Hansen's Dairy & Deli, 620 Gray St., Green Bay, is closed. A sign on the window says the closure is temporary and because of "a power outage." The restaurant's website says "account suspended."
As of Thursday, the telephone number remained active, but was not answered.
Hansen's closed its De Pere restaurant in December, citing lack of business. Owner John Van Lanen said at the time the Gray Street restaurant was doing ok.
