'Yes' votes for Pulaski referendum questions

We will be voting "YUP" for the four questions on the Pulaski School District referendum on April 2. Our four children attend the Pulaski School District and continue to receive a high-quality academic education, participate in activities/athletics and reap the rewards of being a part of a great community school.

However, we need more for our children as well as the other 3,700 Pulaski students. Technology is needed to provide access to more devices, prepare students to have essential skills to be global citizens and for professional development to support the teaching and learning needed to prepare our students for the 21st century.

We need to fix roofs, upgrade HVAC systems and create secure entrances. Our buildings are in desperate need of remodeling and additions to create equal access for all Pulaski students. Our pool facility has served students and adults in learning how to swim and wellness activities but is close to losing its functionality. Our community pool is used by residents from all over the school district not just Pulaski residents. We are willing to commit 85 cents per $1,000 of property value for seven years and 44 cents for the remaining 13years to support "Our Kids, Our Future."
