Is it possible to have a collection of collections? My wife seems to think so, at least when the collector in question is yours truly. She seems to think I collect things simply to collect them.

Frankly, it's hard to argue with her. Just within eyesight of my office are no less than a dozen collections. There are boxes of baseball cards, shelves of wildlife statues, cases of outdoor magazines, a binder holding my national parks quarters and, well, you get the idea.
