Kroc Kamp 2013

Ages: 5-12

Hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. Early care available 6 to 8 a.m.

Dates: June 10 to Aug. 23

Location: Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, 1315 Lime Kiln Road, Green Bay.

About: Kroc Camp provides campers a healthy snack and activities focused on encouraging learning, creativity, and team work. Themed weekes include theater, dance, junior culinary. Kroc water, sports, vacation Bible school and character building camp are added this season.

Registration/questions: Pre-registration for is recommended. Limited scholarships for Kroc Kamp are available and multiple child discount. Contact Grant Holloway, Youth Development Coordinator, at (920) 544-8169.

Camp Hope

Ages: 7 to 13

Hours: 7 a.m. to 5 pm., Monday to Friday

Dates: June 11 to Aug. 23.

Location: Salvation Army Green Bay Corps, 626 Union Court, Green Bay.

About: Camp Hope provides professional, safe, and fun activities through cultural, artistic, educational, health and wellness classes. Field trips throughout Wisconsin are an integral part of Camp Hope to promote character development and expose youth to experiences they may never have the opportunity to see. In addition, Camp Hope provides kids with a morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack at no additional charge.

Registration/questions: 9 a.m. to noon on April 13, 27, May 11, and June 1 in The Salvation Army Green Bay Corps gym, 626 Union Court. Contact Alvin Bottorff, Green Bay Corps Community Center Director at (920) 593-2368. $35 non-refundable registration fee. Financial assistance may be available to qualifying families and a multiple child discount does apply.

Teen Adventure Program

Ages: 11-14

Hours: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Dates: June 13 to Aug. 21.

Location: Franklin Middle School, 1233 Lore Ln., Green Bay.

About: Activities include field trips, career exploration and community service porjects.
