10 YEARS AGO: Marshfield Columbus senior Shawn Lee was named to the fourth team of The Associated Press' All-State Boys Basketball Team. Lee, the two-time Marawood Conference player of the year, led the Dons to their first ever WIAA state tournament appearance.

Students with limited English proficiency are receiving additional education help through a cooperative effort between four school districts. Abbotsford now serves three other school districts through its Title 1 Migrant Program.

25 YEARS AGO: The Marshfield Senior Citizens met recently with 123 members present. James Eckes lead the program and the pledge.

50 YEARS AGO: Marshfield High School musicians won eight Class A "first" ratings in the Wisconsin Valley Solo and Ensemble Music Festival. All eight will go on to the state music festival in May at Madison.

75 YEARS AGO: One-hundred-forty boys and girls, all members of the school safety patrols of the Marshfield public and parochial schools, were entertained at a theater party Saturday afternoon. A banquet followed at the armory.
