UWO projects get state building commission approval

The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh building boom would continue for the next two years under a building plan approved last week by the state.

The state building commission last week approved Gov. Scott Walker's 2013-15 capital budget recommendations, which include four building projects at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The budget also includes construction of a new unit for medium and maximum security female patients at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute and an expansion of the Health Services Unit at Oshkosh Correctional Institution.
