Letters: Used book sale benefits Public Library

8:30 AM, Mar. 25, 2013  |  Comments

The Friends of the Oshkosh Public Library wish to thank the members of the Oshkosh community who support the Friends' bimonthly used book sales - either by donating books or coming to the sales. The Friends were able to give more than $34,000 to our library for programs, collections, and special events in 2012-13 because of this support.

Generous donors have given many books, some of which are rare and collectable. These books are displayed in a special section of the sales area in the library's basement level and are reasonably priced. The sales are held every other month on the last Tuesday of the month, the next sale being held on March 26 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. There are books for all ages covering a multitude of topics. Book donations may be brought to the library's checkout desk. (Please do not put donated books in the book drops.)

Thank you to all supporters of the Friends' Used Book Sales! Together, we are helping to make our Oshkosh Public Library a valuable resource for our community.
