It wasn't until about two months ago that Dan Hennell figured out what goes on behind the scenes of a Sheboygan Theatre Company production.

Hennell, 41, landed a part in the STC's production of "The Musical Comedy of Murders of 1940," which wrapped up production just over a week ago.

It was the first STC show Hennell auditioned for, as well as the first production he's ever been a part of. Hennell said it's something he long wanted to do, but it was fear of the unknown that kept him from auditioning sooner. ...
