Second Oconto Falls man charged in connection with Chad McLean murder

A 54-year-old Oconto Falls man has been charged for allegedly lying last year during a court hearing probing the 1998 murder of Chad McLean.

Charles Mlados was arrested Friday and faces two felony counts of perjury before a judge for making alleged false statements Nov. 2 during a John Doe hearing in Oconto County Court. Mlados appeared for a hearing Monday afternoon, when his bond was set at $25,000 cash and he was scheduled for a continued initial appearance Wednesday. If convicted, he faces up to 12 years in prison.
