De Pere-based travel provider MetJet said the state has given approval for it to offer 100,000 shares to the first 100 local investors on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Shares will be sold in 1,000-share increments at $5 per share. Investors will receive annual dividends of two free round-trip tickets on MetJet flights for every 1,000 shares owned as long as the shares are owned.

MetJet offers flights from Austin Straubel International Airport in Ashwaubenon to Orlando, Fla., and Fort Myers, Fla., and has said it is looking at other destinations.

MetJet said it plans to use this money for marketing and retained earnings.
