The average retail price for a gallon of gasoline in Green Bay has risen around 2 cents in the past week to $3.70, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 127 gas outlets.

The price is around 24 cents lower than a year ago and around 5 cents lower than a month ago.

The U.S. average was $3.64 a gallon. That is 21.9 cents a gallon less than a year ago and 9.5 cents less than a month ago.

"Average gasoline prices have continued to quietly move lower in the last week across much of the United States at a time of year when we historically are accustomed to seeing prices move higher," said GasBuddy.com senior petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan. "As of late last week, all 50 states saw lower gasoline prices than the same date last year, and the savings at the pump for motorists - while not staggering - amounts to millions of dollars a day."
