Art show features stitched work from greater Fox Valley area

The biennial show of the Fox Valley Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America will be held Saturday, April 13 and Sunday April 14 in Appleton. Cross-stitch, counted thread, needlepoint, and other types of stitched work will be displayed by the 42 members of the FVEGA. Guild members come from the greater Fox Valley area ranging from Oshkosh to New London, the Fox Cities to Green Bay.

Over 175 pieces will be on display including samplers, beadwork, silk and metal thread work and projects from EGA classes. There will be ongoing demonstrations of needlework techniques during the exhibit to ...
