Local architects elected as 2013 AIA officers

Architect Gregory A. Douglas, AIA, Green Bay, has been elected as the 2013 president of AIA Northeast Wisconsin, the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and AIA Wisconsin. Douglas is vice president/design-build services with Miron Construction Co., Inc., Neenah.

Other AIA Northeast Wisconsin officers for 2013 are: Jennifer L. Lehrke, AIA, Glenbeulah, vice president/president-elect; and Daniel J. Wiitanen, AIA, New Franken, secretary/treasurer. Lehrke is principal architect and his toric preservation consultant with Legacy Architecture Inc., Sheboygan. Wiitanen is project architect with Somerville Inc., Green Bay.

AIA Northeast Wisconsin has over 200 members, including registered architects, interns, students and allied design and construction industry professionals. It is the local chapter of AIA Wisconsin, the Madison-based statewide component of the American Institute of Architects.
