Injuries never come at opportune moments, but Alison Bos couldn't have picked a worse time to sprain her ankle last spring.

Freedom's top-notch hurdler turned her ankle during the preliminaries of the 300-meter hurdles at the 2012 state track and field meet.

Bos gutted it out and managed to finish the race, but just missed qualifying for the final. ...
