Residents in the Hortonville Area School District will cast their ballots Tuesday to determine whether the school district will be able to spend more than $25.4 million to improve its facilities and an extra $370,000 a year in operating costs.

Superintendent Heidi Schmidt - as a guest on Newsmakers, Post-Crescent Media's online issues show - discussed the two referendum questions up for approval and how the changes would benefit students in the district.
