A Milwaukee man accused of scratching the face of a corrections officer, and under investigation for a heroin overdose death, was back in court this week.

A request to modify the $50,000 bail for 33-year-old Roy Whitelow was denied Tuesday at a motions hearing before Fond du Lac County Circuit Court Judge Peter Grimm. Whitelow is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on one charge of battery to a law enforcement officer.

Whitelow is accused of causing three scratches to a Fond du Lac County Jail corrections officer who was attempting to obtain a DNA sample from Whitelow. ...
