All-conference hoops

Four area players received all-conference recognition from their conference for women's basketball recently.

UW-Superior sophomore Kristen Nett got honorable mention in the WIAC. The Bay Port alumna avearaged 8.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game in addition to leading the Yellow Jackets with 40 steals. ...

In the Midwest Conference, St. Norbert College sophomore Tasha Giese was named to the second team. The former Pulaski standout led the Green Knights by averaging 6.9 rebounds per game and was the team's second-leading scorer with 9.2 ppg.
