Dominion Resources Inc. has notified the state that it will begin layoffs at Kewaunee Power Station on May 31.

In a notice filed Tuesday with the state Department of Workforce Development, Dominion said 202 of 632 workers are scheduled to be laid off at the end of May. Those layoffs would be followed by 56 by June 30, 46 by July 31, 31 between August and December, five by Sept. 30, 2014, and 293 on Sept. 30, 2014, or later.

Between 50 and 100 positions would remain at the plant, which will require security and maintenance workers until it is dismantled, decades from now. ...
