Once again the pews at the Nekoosa United Church of Christ were covered with beautiful quilts as the church hosted its ninth annual quilt show March 16.

There were 105 quilted items displayed, with 33 different quilters entering. Co-chairwomen Sandy Dicks and Lynette Hilgers felt that the lower attendance this year could have been due to the wintry weather or Assumption High School participating in the State Basketball Tournament.
