Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum transferring collection to new site

With the April 1 moving deadline looming, Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum employees and volunteers were busy Tuesday shuttling boxes to the museum's new location.

"We definitely won't make it by the first. I just don't think we can get enough trucks to make it to and fro in time," said museum director Jim Moran, who expects the building owner to extend the deadline to mid-April. "Close to 90 percent of what we have is palletted and packed. Five semis have made it over and are unloaded, so the office area and some of our very biggest equipment is all that is left to pack up.
