Marie App of Ogdensburg, a former teacher at Maria High School, is exhibiting her latest series of oil paintings at the Scarabocchio Art Museum, 800 Main St. The show, "Landforms and Florals," is representational in style, bold and colorful in design, and masterful in composition. The exhibit opens today and runs through May 9.

Many Stevens Point residents will remember Marie as Sister Laureen, who designed the 12 floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows in the large convent chapel at 1300 Maria Drive. The chapel is now the Newman University Parish at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens ...
