Write essay to win conservation camp scholarship

The Wood County Land Conservation Department is offering scholarships to students interested in attending the two Conservation Camps this summer in June.

An essay of 300 words about "My Favorite Outdoor Memory" must be submitted to Wood County LCD by May 15 in order to be considered to receive the scholarship.

Sand Lake Conservation Camp will be held at Camp Bird near Crivitz this summer, from June 20 to 22. Youths from Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula entering grades six through eight in the fall of 2013 are invited to participate. The fee is $60 ($75 after May 30) and includes room, ...
