It's an annual rite of spring that Northeastern Wisconsin high school athletic directors, coaches and athletes inevitably have to play.

But after not having to do so last year because of some unseasonably warm weather, this year's consistently cold temperatures have been especially tough to take for those wanting to get outside for sporting events. ...
