10 YEARS AGO: First Presbyterian Church will host a concert by Dakota Road Music, a faith music group. The group is based in South Dakota and performs ballads and rock songs.

Upham Mansion will show off its clothing collection, "Dress to the Nines," from April 6 to May 21. The exhibit is free.

25 YEARS AGO: The Ladies Aid Society of Christ Lutheran Church, Chili, met recently. President Gladys Menger opened the meeting and the Rev. Herbert Bierman conducted a prayer service.

50 YEARS AGO: An ice jam at a small bridge leading to the farm home of the Walter Schroeder family west of Marshfield on County Trunk H, has temporarily isolated the family. The jam prevented the stream from following its normal course and sent it tumbling over its banks.

75 YEARS AGO: Interesting demonstrations with electricity were given this week to an enthusiastic group of students by Glenn Morris. Morris sent out magnetic waves and conducted other experiments during a joint assembly of the senior and junior high schools in the Willard D. Purdy auditorium.
