"Stepping On" is a seven-week, interactive fall prevention program aimed at educating participants and building confidence in order to prevent, reduce, or eliminate falls. The program focuses on strength and balancing exercises, medication education and home safety.

The workshop is set for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Thursday from April 18 to May 30 at the Rome Municipal Center, 1156 Alpine Drive, Rome. A $10 donation is suggested to cover materials. Snacks are provided. The workshops are open to the public.

Call Shannon Rhode at the Aging & Disability Resource Center at 877-883-5378, for more information or to register.
