The 10th annual Sevastopol Elementary spring art show student and family reception is scheduled for 1:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday at Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay.

Fifty-seven works of art, created by Sevastopol 4-year-old kindergarten through fifth-grade students, will be on display at Stone Harbor through May 17.

Student artwork media includes tempera, paintings, drawing, pastels, watercolors, fibers, mixed media and clay. Each piece was framed and matted by elementary art teacher Chris Aufdermauer. Sevastopol staff and community members donated matting and frames. The Sevastopol Parent Teacher Organization donated funds.

"This is our 10th anniversary of having this display and more than 500 students have had the opportunity to be part of the exhibit (over the years). When you start out, you never think it's going to go that long," Aufdermauer said.

Parents interested in helping at the reception can contact Aufdermauer at (920) 743-6282, Ext. 133.
