New Southern Door High School baseball coach Dave Neinas pretty much has a lifetime of experience in the game, but this spring brings a new challenge.

A Southern Door alumnus himself, Neinas played in two NCAA Division III World Series with Carthage College and has been a mainstay of the Door County League's Kolberg Braves, being part of five DCL championship teams as a player and four as a manager.

Now, Neinas debuts as a high school coach by taking over an Eagles program that hasn't had a winning season since 2008 and went 5-9 in the Packerland Conference and 6-13 overall last year. ...
