The Dodge County Land Conservation Department is accepting applications for cost sharing the installation of soil and water conservation practices on Dodge County farms. Over $35,000 has been allocated to Dodge County to help cost share a variety of structural practices, including common practices such as grass waterways, water diversions, critical area stabilization, rural well abandonment, manure storage abandonment, and barnyard runoff control.

The rate of cost sharing on most practices is 70 percent.

Applications submitted prior to May 1, will be given priority consideration. However, applications can be taken through November of 2013. Dodge County has also been allocated $20,000 for cost sharing nutrient management planning.

To obtain an application form, or for more information call the Dodge County Land Conservation Department at 920-386-3660.
